               About Us
-Two minds are better than one
-Three things in life that, once gone, never come back – Time, Words, Opportunity

In the spring of 2005 two Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses – Saundra Austin-Benn & Deanna V. Johnson - met every Friday for lunch. The lunch meeting started out with discussions on how to improve their respective private practices; which medication works best for what and how to service a larger number of patients. They began to realize that the only way to meet the increasing demand for mental health services sought by diverse populations was to expand their solo practices. Finally, a deferred dream of opening a mental health clinic was reawakened. After much discussion they decided to bring their dream to life. Out of this came WORLD OF WELLNESS, a full service mental health clinic for all ages.
Our bilingual staff includes licensed and board certified advanced practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, professional counselors and dedicated support personnel.  We are committed to delivering compassionate, competent and timely mental health services to our clients.  We are particularly pleased to offer group psychotherapy which is a powerful treatment modality that is often under utilized.

The professional experience of the founders includes expertise in education, psychotherapy, medication management, administration, and mental health consultation.  They are the recipients of numerous awards for their service and achievements.
